Installation Requirements of Ice Cube Maker

Select a suitable location for your machine, away from direct sunlight, heat sources, dust sources, and corrosive substances. Ensure adequate space for ventilation and drainage.
Verify your machine’s electrical requirements, ensuring they match your power supply’s voltage, frequency, and amperage. You may need to install a dedicated circuit breaker or fuse for your machine. Check your machine’s water supply and drainage requirements. Ensure access to clean, potable water with adequate pressure and flow rate. You may need to install a water filter or softener to prevent scale buildup or contamination. Connect your machine to a drain pipe or floor drain with an air gap or backflow preventer to avoid water backflow or flooding.
Assemble and test your machine according to the ice making machine manufacturer’s instructions. Adjust the ice cube size and shape, ice harvest time, and bin level sensor as needed. Flush the water system and sanitize the ice bin before using your machine.
Precautions for Use Ice Cube Maker
The ice maker must unscrew the inlet hose head for two months, clean the inlet valve filter screen, and prevent sand and mud impurities in the water from blocking the inlet, resulting in a decrease in the amount of water entering and not making ice. Although the ice maker will discharge the cooled residual water from the sink at the end of each ice making process to achieve cleaning effect, which can effectively reduce the generation of scale in the evaporator and water circulation system, it is generally necessary to use ice maker cleaning agents and disinfectants to clean and disinfect the water distribution pipe, sink, refrigerator, and water baffle after about six months, and rinse thoroughly.
The ice cubes generated during the cleaning process cannot be consumed. When not in use for a long time, it should be cleaned thoroughly, and the ice mold and the moisture inside the box should be dried with an electric hair dryer. It should be placed in a well ventilated and dry place without corrosive gases, avoiding outdoor storage.
When handling the ice maker, care should be taken to prevent severe vibrations. The handling slope should not be less than 45 degrees. After long-distance transportation, the ice maker should be left for 2 to 6 hours before it can be turned on for ice making.
