With the increase of the food industry and some supermarkets, there are particularly many places where ice cubes are needed, so the demand for ice makers is also increasing. An ice maker is a refrigeration mechanical device that cools water through an evaporator and generates ice from the refrigerant of the refrigeration system. I believe many people don't know about the cleaning of ice machines. Let's talk together now!
Because ice machines are very commonly used, timely cleaning is also a very important thing to ensure the service life of the ice machine becomes longer. When cleaning, we generally divide it into the following points:
1. After using the ice maker, it is necessary to clean the ice cubes inside. When cleaning the ice maker, it is important to remember to turn off the power and avoid using a water pipe directly aimed at the body for flushing. You should use clean water, then add an appropriate amount of neutral detergent (it is strictly prohibited to use corrosive solvents such as acidic or alkaline) to wipe the machine enclosure and inner liner, and then use a soft cloth to wipe it clean.
2. The ice maker must unscrew the head of the water inlet hose every two months and clean the filter screen of the water inlet valve. This can prevent sand and mud impurities in the water from blocking the water inlet, resulting in a decrease in water inflow and the occurrence of ice failure.
3. Clean the surface dust of the condenser every two months, as poor condensation and heat dissipation can cause damage to compressor components. When cleaning, use a vacuum cleaner, small brush, etc. to clean the oil and dust on the condensed surface. Sharp metal tools cannot be used to clean, as this can avoid damage to the condenser.
4. The water pipes, sink, storage bin, and protective film of the ice maker need to be cleaned every two months. When not in use, it should be cleaned thoroughly, and the ice mold and water inside the box should be dried with an electric hair dryer. It should be placed in a non corrosive gas and ventilated dry place to avoid outdoor storage.
